Change in Association Management Companies

The Travis Country West Homeowners Association (HOA) Board of Directors has approved a change in association management companies from Goodwin Management to RealManage. RealManage oversees a plethora of Austin communities that include Legend Oaks II and 14 of the Barton Creek Communities. The effective date of the transition will be September 1, 2010.
RealManage was selected after a multi-staged, multi-vendor selection process. The Board compared service offerings, community references, cost and total value to our community. During the final selection phase the Board interviewed proposed property managers for overall fit with our community.
Expected benefits of the property management change include increased focus on upholding the covenants, conditions and restrictions, increased community responsiveness and a decrease in management costs. RealManage will also assist the Board with reviewing existing vendor contracts looking for opportunities to improve service or seek cost-savings.
The process has begun to transfer all information from Goodwin to RealManage. The transition should be complete within 30 days, and we are working to make it as seamless as possible. We ask for your patience during this change.
More information will be forthcoming as the new management company sends out communications by postal mail and a neighborhood meeting will be scheduled.
